Introduction

Three large trees were growing on an island in the Thompson River, Kamloops (Lomer 7816 @ UBC). The silver maple is often planted, and can become naturalized, especially in riverside habitats. Also collected in Beaver Creek, Fruitvale (Lomer 8836 @ UBC).
